[Scan-DC] 9:54PM EST in suburban MD, Sonic boom or thunder?

So these sounds were heard in Beltsville, Gaithersburg, Alexandria and
Frederick county, all within 15 minutes. Is this something that fits with
sonic booms? I don't have much experience with hearing them.
