Dave,
Yea, I have been looking at and drooling over some of those High End ICOMS.
Not in the budget at this time, I can see it happening within the next year
or 2. From what little I have read I agree with you in that those rigs you
mention are probably better for reception. I am leaning toward the AR 8200
MK III because of it's versatility. I think after that I can honestly say I
am good with my radios as far as Speed, flexibly and versatility. Next I
will probably starting working toward sensitivity and the ICOMS seem to foot
the bill for that. Plus my software will run any of them so I am good there.
