[Scan-DC] High-Altitude Helicopter Orbiting Over Alexandria

Not that this answers the question but I've been hearing the drone of a
helicopter circling at really high altitude.   Heard it for more a few
times in the past week and I heard it earlier today.   Seems to
sometimes go on for more then hour.

Not that this answers the question but at least now I know where it was
at and that I wasn't dreaming it was actually a chopper.

There's a helicopter orbiting over the south end of Alexandria - over
the
Belle Haven Country Club, more or less - right now, 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday.
What's particularly unusual is that he is about a mile up, quite high
for
a helicopter.

Early this morning - 12:30 a.m. - I heard what sounded like the FBI's
Cessna 172 flying around. I didn't get a good look at him.

I haven't had my scananer on. What's up?
