William, William, William. Lighten up. Last fall at a church rummage
sale, I saw a pair of skis with a price tag of $100. I got them for $1.
**This is the way of all sales of secondhand things.**
There is no set price. The price of the transaction is what is arrived at
by the buyer and the seller. Do not take offense. It is traditional for
sellers to aim for the high side and for buyers to aim at the low side.
The final price will be somewhere in between, or there will be no sale.
It has always been thus.
Some sellers at yard sales don't like my offers either. So?
