It works both ways. I've advertised stuff in the paper. Several years
ago, a guy came by to look at a snowboard I was trying to unload. After
looking it over, he was sort of hemming and hawing. I told him that I had
a lot of experience buying secondhand things, and that I knew right away
when I looked at something whether I wanted to buy it or not. If I was
unsure, it meant that I wasn't interested, and that I should thank the
intended seller for his time, say I'd think about it, and leave. The guy
who came to look at the snowboard did just that. It didn't bother me at
all. I'd rather that he not make a mistake than buy the board just so
that I wouldn't be disappointed. 

It's not a deal until the money changes hands. 

I used to save the RS sales flyers, but they have these new psychiatric
medications these days that keep me from doing that anymore. At any rate,
I saved the page from the 11-97 RS sales flyer with the PRO-64 on it. SKU
for the PRO-64 was 20-564. Regular price was $299.99; sales price was
$199.99. The keypad is below the speaker, so it is probably made by GRE.

RS AC power adapter is SKU 273-1665. Cigarette lighter adapter
(politically incorrect; deal with it) is SKU 270-1560.
