[Scan-DC] Montgomery fire-rescue plows

Guess that there is too much snow for the brush trucks to push.. It's funny
to listen to the dispatchers try and raise the plows...some of them
forgetting their radios (last night), etc. Those at ECC must be hating
their job right now. I would rather be busy than waiting for an emergency..
but that's just me.

There aren't too many calls going out, but there is a LOT of radio traffic
coordinating plowing, stuck apparatus, etc. Last I heard at 07.00 this
morning plow coordination was on MC Channel 4 (155.100). How are the
roads.. I am stuck in a court, so I have no idea what the main roads are
like... Okay, take that not many calls, apparently it's picked up since
07.00 =) Haven't been monitoring the police.. how are they getting around
out there?

WMATA had a debacle yesterday.. they decided to run trains on all sections
of rail, stating trains running every 1-2 hours. Ick. Normally they run in
underground only. Today trains will be running every 30 minutes. (as per
Washingtonpost.com)

Enjoying the snow,

David
