Nahhh, Metrorail is stating on WTOP that they are running
only in the underground tubes every hour. Above-ground stations are closed.
160.38 is the Orange Line, fer instance.
I can't help you on road conditions or anything other than
Muttgummery fire, I'm listening on their Internet feed.
I'm in sunny-ish, not freezing Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
where oodles of traffic and irritable people await you
to escape the cold, snowy north. (Sorry, I just had to say that!)
Normally, I'd say ditch the plane, take the train, but the
RF&P subdivision has signal trouble and a broken rail south
of Quantico, so Amtrak is not running either down this way. Sheesh!
Hope y'all survive the blizzard of '03!!
