[Scan-DC] Scanner purchase opinions?

Montgomery's new system is hardly a situation of "the jury is still out"... 
it is up and operating now.  Once all the radios get installed in vehicles, 
etc. you can expect that they will switch over.  I understand that you may 
not want to waste $700, but if you want to listen to Montgomery County, 
buying a "non-digital" scanner is CERTAINLY wasting money.
