[Scan-DC] digital OT question

we are finding that to be the case - digital working better especially in
areas of heavy usage - almost seems priority is given to digital over analog

Not scanner related but I figured you guys could answer my question.  I have

an analog cell phone and the coverage stinks in certain areas where the 
towers are less frequent.  Will upgrading to a digital phone give me more 
coverage or better reception?
