Definately digital - I dont know what flavor - 67.5dbm (very strong) on my
motorola test set connected to rooftop tower discone in the area of 17th and
M NW.

closest listing I can find is
Coast Guard tactical 1          03   162.125, Simplex

On May 29, Jeff (NFI) noted transmissions on this channel that sounded like
Astro digital and that it was strong in the DC area.  I am hearing the same
sort of transmissions from my location near Fort Belvoir - and they are
strong.

Any thoughts or ideas?
