Check out the Yupiteru 9000 MKII. I have one and it does exceptionally well on HF, both with AM broadcast and with amateur CW and SSB. Also, the Yupiteru 7100 has had good reviews for HF. Take a look at the reviews on: http://www.strongsignals.net/index.cgi
