There are 2 reasons why I am starting a new organization, and not just joining MC-REACT. (1) I want my organization to cover Germantown, Gaithersburg, and North Potomac. MC-REACT is based in Rockville. (2) MC-REACT states that they only monitors CB 9 and 19, GMRS, and HAM. My organization will cover these (except for HAM), plus FRS and the brand new MURS band.
