I've found that easy accessibility is really critical
for rover work. Here in Colorado, we are blessed with
some great "high spots" to operate from....including a
few 14,000 foot mountains with a road to the top.
However, the most successful rover operations have
been on the flat part of Colorado...mostly because you
can move from grid to grid quickly (and still remain
within range of the large population centers).
