[Racal] VLF Filters

Hi, folks.  I hope this information is helpful.  I've been contemplating
making one of my Racal RA-6790GM receivers VLF (<500 kHz) capable and,
having given due consideration to the options, including VLF filters
variously available, have decided that, by far, the best option is to engage
an up-converter to do the job.  AMRAD is about to unveil a magnificent
up-converter for just this purpose, and from what I have seen (prototype), I
can recommend it highly!  As I choose this option, I know that I can then
convert all my radios to VLF functioning -- what a bonus!  Good luck.  Vic
