Yes, the R-1247 was part of the AN/GRC-129, which was a 1 kW SSB
upgrade done by Manson Laboratories to the Air Force's AN/GRC-26D RATT
vans The R-1247/GRC-129 was never used in by NASA in Project Apollo,
despite the widespread folklore. The big Apollo HF systems were
supplied by TMC.

IIRC the synthesizer was built by Manson Labs.
 Also I think this version of the R390A was used in the Apollo
program.
 The receiver is probably a R-1247/GRC-129.
 The synthesizer is probably a O-1203/GRC-129.
