[R-390] R-390 'A' vs 'NON-A' nomenclature

I AM a fan of using the correct nomenclature (R-390/URR and R-390A/URR), but it does NOT bother me all that much. What does bother me is when I'm reading a post and can not tell from the beginning of it, which of our beloved BA's the writer is referring to. When the term R-390A is used, I know what is meant. But, when the term R-390 is used, I'm not quite sure, as this term has been used in the past to refer to the family of R-390's, and in some cases the R-390/URR and R-390A/URR, together.
So, I would prefer that the term R390 not be used by itself at all, even if they are referring to the family of RX's or just the R-390/URR, itself.
I don't think this 'horse' is dead, yet. Although it's fine with me if it is.
Regards, Larry
