Dispute? This was just another discussion the way it has been done on this list for a long time. There was a time when we beat dead horses on a daily or hourly basis. We have survived solid state rectifier replacements, tube substitutions, antenna connectors, who built what and when, and the most vile of suggestions of using a single resistor for a ballast tube that some claimed would cause the frequency to change when a light switch was energized and I shudder to think that when that happened one could no longer hear that weak heterodyne from Pitcairn Island.....

This is as tame as the list has been for quite some. Why many years ago, some poor sports had to spend time in the "penalty box" for not playing by the "rules."

But, the list survived, so no apologies are needed.

Yeah, as Cecil suggested we all have a button, and the R-390/URR and R-390A/URR happen to be my particular one.

I would hope in this day of computers, tweets and such, that our language doesn't evolve into that sort of poor language, nomenclatures and model variants, suffixes and such that are incorrect. In my humble opinion, this seems to be a part of the dumbing down of America and I choose not to be a part of that.
