Hi,

Just my 2 cents here...
Z213-2 ONLY use a 68pF cap, Z213-1 and Z213-3 uses 51pF (unless all the
schematics around are wrong).
Be careful to use the same type of capacitors that the ones fitted there
originally: silver mica for the 68 and 51pF (±2%), NPO ceramic for the 1.5pF
(±0.25pF).
These have to be high quality factor parts anyways to maintain the high Q
needed at Z213 1 to 3
If ever you fail to find any, I should have spares for those (pulled out
from junked RF decks and validated good).
I only have three spare IF (green) slugs however, but a lot of RF ones, if
this can help anyone.

Well guys,  Larry and I  have discussed the problem at the 17.5 to 25mc IF,
and we conclude the problem is with the 1.5  and 68pf caps  at the Z213
cans.  Now off to find replacements,  especially  1.5s  One of the ferrite
slugs may be an issue as it is not green like the others.  I can get  it to
work on BC band but then will not work on 7mc,  unless I retune slugs.  But
at  least I got some action where there  was none  before.  73s Russ.
