Oh yes.  I've heard that said before.  I avoided buying a KWM-2 a  
while ago due to poverty or something, and I've never had one.

I'm pretty sure that CW was not  high on the design criteria, but ease  
of operation for mobile use was.

OH, I see.  The modern "technology" (it's an over used word, I think)  
for modern receivers/transceivers really works wonders for ease of  
use: built in real QSK, for instance, and very nice narrow filters and  
such.

Well, OK, I can put it up in some other place here.  But I did hear  
South Africa last night on 40.
