KWM-2 is perhaps the suckiest radio for CW I ever used. Nothing against
Collins or anything. It's like they took a really sweet and simple SSB rig
and thought "how can we make CW work on this radio yet make it maximally
unenjoyable?"

I meant Elecraft K2. It's the 21st century equivalent of a Heathkit, and
pretty sweet on CW (I think that technically the SSB module is an option
but I never work SSB.)

I swear that every DXpedition in the past couple years uses an army
of K2's on CW and maybe every third QSO I do today (domestic or
DX) the other guy's using a K2 if he hasn't already built a K3 :-)

Just noticed that the Elecraft website has a big banner at the top,
"Elecraft Gift buying guide for non-hams", I gotta show it to some people....!

Agh, October/November is when you put up the 80M antenna, Roy!

The CW sweepstakes were pretty sweet on 80M this past weekend, and
just worked TX3A on 80M a few minutes ago. CHESTERFIELDS, they SATISFY!
