Bite your tongue. For the reasons I explained yesterday, sniping is
the ONLY aspect of eBay that is (at least somewhat) favorable to
buyers. Absolutely everything else is stacked in favor of sellers.
There are auction sites where the "sniping is evil" crowd prevailed,
and auctions are automatically extended 10 or 15 minutes beyond each
bid (if they would have ended within that time otherwise). One of
the firearms auction sites works that way, which is precisely why I
won't use it.
