First you will notice a series of holes on the front panel
around the MHz and KHz controls and under the chassis there are
two added plates between the front panel and the front frame.
These were to support two motors used to select the MHz range
and to sweep thru the KHz range. Besides the  receiver there
was a Panoramic Indicator, a Teletype Converter, a Signal
Classifier, and a Computer. This system was used to intercept
Soviet RATT Traffic.
