Hi Tom.
It sounds to me like you're adjusting the thermostat instead of the End
points. The thermostat is the far LEFT screw (left side of the tube) as =
you
look at the front of the PTO with tube UPRIGHT. The End point is on the =
far
RIGHT when looking the same way. The one in the middle is the =
linearizing
window to access those 48 screws! (BOY DO I KNOW ABOUT THOSE 48 SCREWS =
8^)

Hi guys:
I'm aligning my first R390. I pulled the PTO to correct the 14 khz =
error it

had in it's 1 mhz travel. I turned the screw several times but it had =
no=20
effect on either end point. I removed the outer cover on the PTO and =
saw
what I=20
was turning was a brass screw with a fine thread on it's OD and a 1/8"
diameter=20
hole through it. Any ideas? Is this screw supposed to move a slug in =
the=20
coil like the schmatic shows or is this a varible cap? Thanks and 73 =
