[R-390] Setting end points on Cosmos PTO

Hi guys:
I'm aligning my first R390.  I pulled the PTO to correct the 14 khz error it 
had in it's 1 mhz travel.  I turned the screw several times but it had no 
effect on either end point.  I removed the outer cover on the PTO and saw what I 
was turning was a brass screw with a fine thread on it's OD and a 1/8" diameter 
hole through it.  Any ideas?  Is this screw supposed to move a slug in the 
coil like the schmatic shows or is this a varible cap?  Thanks and 73 Tom k6lqi
