Well Barry, I think what people are a bit sore about is the fact that
a handle and a couple of crystals are not worth $150. Also Rick could
have been a nice guy by just giving the person that spent $1000 on
one of his radios a $10 handle. In defense of Bill, his posts certainly
were not malicious and he only revealed Rick's name after being
asked by multiple folks on this list. If he really threatened to "poison"
any talk about Rick, I certainly do not see it. I think Bill just needed
to vent a little bit and he did it respectfully. He only mentioned names
after he was asked and could have been a lot more malicious.
You state that "He (Rick) didn't feel that you (Bill) should get all of the
claim money from UPS". My question to Rick is why he has not sent
the balance of the $150 back to Bill?.
I don't doubt Rick is a good guy, but he certainly needs a better defence
than this. Maybe he just made a bad judgement call. Maybe Bill is really
at fault. In most conflicts such as this I find that the truth usually lies
somewhere in the middle. From what has been laid out here it looks like
Rick was not reasonable.

This is just my humble opinion.

Scott
