Hi,
nice to hear the other side's view.
The facts are:
Bill got a radio damaged by UPS. The damage is estimated at $300 (by
Rick?). He gets replacement parts for free from Rick to do the repair
work himself because he fears more damage when the R-390 is shipped back
and forth again. He doesn't get any money only the parts and has to
invest his work.
Rick sends a few parts for free and settles the claim with UPS. He gets
$150 out of it.
Well to me Ricks business attitude still stinks. The parts sent for free
are not worth $150 and he makes a nice profit out of it. Bill has to
invest his work but the front panel is still damaged. If I would have to
sit trial over this I would have paid Rick for the parts plus shipping
cost and give the rest of the money to Bill.
Ok start the flames, I have the fire extingisher ready.
