Are you sure that the coupling wheels are mated between the main fraim and the modules? There is a tang between the wheels that bond the movement. Other things are relay problems and gummed motors as was mentioned. The megacycle synthesizer module has a motor that seems to gum easier than the turret motor. I have tested these motors by desoldering the motor leads and then hooking up an external 20v dc to see if the motors work. More times than not, it is the relays. I have fixed the relays by tapping voltage to the coils until they start clicking again. The motors are repairable if one is brave enough to pull the guts. The down gearing in the motors gets complex. but it's not rocket science. When reassembling the internal motor gears, they can be tacked in place with grease. Extracting the megacycle motor for repairs is scary, but easier than pocket watch repair .hi
