I just use whatever I can locate locally. I save stuff from work. If you
mail via Priority mail, you can get your boxes free from the post office. I
even ordered some from their web page when I did a few EBay sales awhile
ago. Only problem is that they MUST go via Priority mail.
Otherwise, might I recommend a visit to your local food store, or drug store
and ask if they have any "in the back" that you could have that aren't cut
up. It's OK if they are just flattened. You can re-build them. Also, I use
the heavy duty reinforced packing tape for sealing the box for shipping.
This is the kind that has a fiber reinforcement in it. The regular plastic
stuff isn't that good in my opinion for heavy boxes.
If worse comes to worse, you can get some decent boxes from Staples or from
Mail Boxes, Etc. But they will not be free.
