[QCWA Hotlist] associate membership

QCWA Chapter 1 has about 100 members. 21 of these are not eligible for QCWA
and we call them MLO (membership list only). These would be what you call
associate members. We feel that we need to get the younger hams interested
in our chapter, so they can join the national when they are eligible. They
check into our nets and come to our quarterly luncheons. Our weekly net
control is an MLO. He does a great job, too!

Don't forget that we are eligible for QCWA simply by living long enough and
not by our achievements in our great hobby. Let's not chase away
interested, younger members. Our chapter supports the associate member idea.
