Hi Steve,

>From the 654,291 US hams in 2006 to the 675,274 that are licensed today, the 
pool of Ham's is growing, we are not.

QCWA isn't!  Local Chapters aren't!  I don't know the membership numbers off 
hand but were down from 128 active US chapters in 2006 to 120 today and that 
includes the four chartered and still active since 2006.

I still believe the majority of members, myself include, favor retaining the 
25 year requirement.  It defines in part who and what we are.  Once we lose 
that, we can never get it back.    We do have members that think it should 
be continuously licensed for 25 years to qualify.
