With respect to the recent information regarding the expense of producing the Journal I offer a suggestion.

Our Journal as it exists can never be other than an expense as long as there is not enough paid advertising to support it.

Both CQ and QST are enjoying a windfall of advertising these days.  

Another organization to which I belong had a similar problem with their newsletter.  They canvassed their entire email address book to see if a digital edition would be of interest.
They reduced their printing by over 2000 copies as a result of the response.
