Thanks, Bill. You may have just solved a mystery for me. The Huntsville Hamfest was on one of our numerous tours of QCWA Chapters last summer. I was curious as to why there is no QCWA Chapter in Huntsville. All that I could find out was that there used to be one, but it had disappeared.
I think you have the answer. At our Baltimore Chapter #20 booth two weeks ago, a visitor for Pennsylvania asked: "Why should I rejoin QCWA? I attended a Chapter meeting and no one even spoke to me, let alone extend a welcome." That outrageous slight does not occur in our Chapter.
