Whether or not KDKA was the first broadcast station depends on how you
define "Broadcast Station."
KDKA was in fact the first station to broadcast the same show on a
regular weekly schedule, BUT 8MK in Detroit, the station which later
became WWJ was an earlier broadcaster if you use the definition of a
broadcaster as a station which "Broadcasts" a message to the general
public in return for commercial revenue.
