Well said, Paul. I'm not, nor have I ever been a single issue voter.
I'm an unashamed Republican and my wife (she had to leave for a family
funeral in Finland) and I cast our votes last Wednesday for President
Bush.
There are other ways to fight this BPL thing. One can donate money to
the League and one can write to his Congressman and both Senators,
explaining the issue, being as non-technical as possible. Explain that
BPL pollutes the public airwaves as raw sewage and fertilizer runoff can
pollute our streams and rivers. The FCC listens to the Congress.
