(With apologies to the non-US hams members who have to endure the
discussion -- at least you don't have to see the TV commercials, too.)
While it may be true that the administration appoints the Commission
members, and that the current administration's FCC has shown itself
to be apparently less than immune to financial interests, I can't put
BPL high enough in importance to make a difference in my vote this
year, considering the other issues at stake. Things like who's going
to be sitting on the Supreme Court when the next President fills
probable vacancies; resolution of issues regarding long-term social,
economic, and foreign relation issues...
There *are* things that are more important to me than ham radio (but
not *too* many -- I've been a ham for 35 of my 45 years!)
