Hello Dick,

I was wondering re: the proof of year 1st licensed. Due to going
into the USN 6 months after I got my Novice [WN7ZQV/May 1955], and
spending the majority of my adult life overseas [W7ZQV/KG6 -
W7LPF/DU2 - CT1DKG/CR7DKG - HB9IBA, with many different stateside
locations along with other countries that I was unable to operate
from like [YI], the question I have is, I still have all my paper
log books from my 1st CQ on May 25th, 1955, and subsequent 1st
QSO with WN7ZQZ [down the road from me, a classmate that got his
license the same time I did while in High school]. Seeing my call
would not show up until 1956 in the Callbook, couldn't my logbook,
[or even some of the QSL's I have from back there in 1955 work?].
Just asking - my 50 years would be 2005 [or 2006 if you had to wait
until it showed up in the callbook that next year].
