[PVRCNC] [PVRC] Portable Contest Operation Questions

Henry,

For ARRL contests all operators must operate and reside within the club
circle, except for ARRL DX where DXpeditions outside the US are allowed.
FYI, we have two circles for ARRL contests (HF and VHF). Atlantic Beach is
well outside the VHF circle, but just barely outside the HF circle.

http://www.pvrc.org/pvrc_circle/PVRC_Circle.htm

For most CQ contests the operator just needs to reside within the circle.
However, Atlantic Beach is well inside the 250 mile CQ circle.

The CQ 160 contests as well as the NA QSO Parties, WAE and Russian DX do
not have circle restrictions and are open to members worldwide.

Alan - AA4FU
