I can't find my OS456 manual as it's been years but I'm pretty sure if you
don't have the analog wire attached to the TP2 (test point 2) then you have the
OS456 "lite" which does not have PL/DPL tone decode and therefore doesn't have
the 2nd wire. The full version OS456 (w/PL-DPL) board was the first to be
discontinued. The original vendor could no longer provide Opto with a certain
chip and Opto could not find a new source (or cheap enough source). Opto did
continue to sell the "lite" OS456 version for several years though.
