   Tom...  There is no "component" per se at TP2, it is only a Test Point
   that you can hook up to with a probe or clip.  TP2 is the
   discriminator audio  output on the Pro-2006, the place to connect a
   data slicer, for example.)  About the OS456, it must indeed have wires
   going to TP2 and Pin 3 of IC4.  If you don't see these two connections
   it is either not installed/working or wired to the underside of the
   PCB.  I've done a lot of work on my two 2006's lately, including
   moving an OS456 between Pro-2006's, adding a LED S meter, changing the
   backlight, adding a discriminator jack to the rear and the mod to
   improve audio quality (by far the most difficult!!).  The good news
   is, it's all working great...and I just hooked an OptoTrakker up to my
   other Pro-2006...working nicely with Spectrum Commander in a
   multi-radio setup.
