[Pro2006] pro-2006 Fading backlight problem?

I was not trying to confuse anyone, as I said above once you install that board and
use it and probe or whatever, you need the computer to continue scanning the
channels that you have in probe or whatever other software you are going to use.

That's what I was trying to say it will not program the channels in the scanner,
with all the new scanners out there that have computer control people need to
realize that this add on board will not program the channels in the scanner.
Sure it will work just fine without it but it will not scan the channels that you
have in probe or whatever other software you are using.

I am saying that if you install an OS456 board of any type in the scanner and then
load lots of channels into probe or whatever other software you are using that when
you no longer have the computer hooked to the scanner you can no longer scan all
those channels, correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know they have not made any
changes to the OS456 boards to allow them to program the memory in the scanner.

Never said that there was anything wrong with probe or scanstar, I have never used
it so I cannot be sure whats what with it, just go by what I have read in the
newsgroups.
