Np Ed,

I figured it had to be one of two things because it did work, just not
correctly.
A buddy had built a few of them an dI was going to till I decided to go with
the CE/HB-232.
To bad you couldn't get your hands on a CE/HB-232, if you think the PROgrammit
is slick you should see the CE/HB-232 work with the Pro-Turbo software, full
control of the scanner, whatever you can do from the keypad you can do through
software, plus many other things.
