[Pro2006] Parallel port PC Interface and ProgramIT software

Hi Len
I've had a bit of a look around for the CE/HB-232 and also the Opto456 lite.
They certainly look great but they're a bit beyond my budget unfortunately.
Once I pay freight to New Zealand I probably wouldn't get much change from
US$200, which I really don't have to spare at the moment. Unless they come
down in price and/or I find a local distributor I'll have to stick with the
poor man's option for now.
Cheers
Ed

Np Ed,
I figured it had to be one of two things because it did work, just not
correctly.
A buddy had built a few of them an dI was going to till I decided to go with
the CE/HB-232.
To bad you couldn't get your hands on a CE/HB-232, if you think the
PROgrammit
is slick you should see the CE/HB-232 work with the Pro-Turbo software, full
control of the scanner, whatever you can do from the keypad you can do
through
software, plus many other things.
Cheers
Len
