Hello again Heinz,
Sorry for what has happened.
When I come back home (next Tuesday) I'll try to give you some advices on fixing the problem.
In the meantime please let me know if your receiver is of the early /MFP type (wide numeric keys in the front panel, MFP-A3 card 796032 and MFP-A4 card 796029) or is of the latest /MFP type (narrow numeric keys, MFP-A3 card 794308-2 and MFP-A4 card 794275-x).
Best regards, 73.
Paolo

I switched off, waited a few seconds and switched on again. Nearly all LED in the switches were on. No response to any switch. Frequency display showed 22.22222. did not change with VFO knob.
