[Premium-Rx] Sick WJ-8718/MFP

Usually if you have a shorted tantalum capacitor you will know it pretty quickly by the smell it makes as it burns its way through the PC board. But yes check the power supply rails as your first step.

In the meantime please let me know if your receiver is of the early /MFP type (wide numeric keys in the front panel, MFP-A3 card  796032 and MFP-A4 card 796029) or is of the latest /MFP type (narrow numeric keys, MFP-A3 card 794308-2 and MFP-A4 card 794275-x).
