8712 Update: Versions 8712, 8712-1, and 8712A, firmware and Roofing Filters

A. There is a version of the 8712A firmware that will work in the 8712-1. 
The WJ8712A is working OK. All 66 IF BW's respond as expected. Note that the 
installed RF Tuner boards have 30 KHz or 16 KHz FL1 roofing filters (see B).

A2 Firmware:
U12,  04.01.00
U56, 04.02.03


B. FL1 roofing filters installed in A3

FL1 92609 = 30 KHz, 797006-1, -2, -3, -4

FL1 92699 = 16 KHz, 797006-5

FL1 92727 = 8 KHz, 797006-6, -7

Notes:
1) I don't have an 8712 to test with so I don't know if this firmware will 
work in first gen radios
2) I can provide the BIN files but you must find a way to program the 
EPROMs. I am not authorized to sell or distribute firmware.
3) This firmware changes your radios ID from 8712-1 to 8712A.
4) Selecting FL1 as 8 KHz only seems to effect performance in crowded bands 
when in the presence of strong signals
