Well Karl-Arne, certainly I'm known about Skanti R5000/R5001, simply not mention about. MR1543 that is Main Receiver intended for 500/2182 Khz that is why only few
crystal filters installed. So, I instal more mechanical filters (standard quartz  was not available in that time). Those receivers has no any RF amplifier in Front End and when I installed  additional one it became much better radio then standard one, especially for deep countryside where no any interference and sensivity limitation. It switchable and possible to disconnect at any time. In servise from 1992 and never ever any problems arised. Not sophosticated, but very usefull receivers...
