Information that you requested is as follows:

S/N 2288    Options: ISB, MCM2, and 488.2  ( No previous ownership info )

It appears that you have dug up some info concerning the culprit involved.
It does have the (3) 16-pin connectors, as well as, a set of chips at the
extreme opposite end of the board with a 488v2.81 label. However, the board
part number is marked as 796029 without any dash number(s) whatsoever.

Is there somewhere that I can download or obtain this 488 option
documentation that you mention ?  It definitely sounds like you have
uncovered the proper board that is in question here. I am very familiar with
your truly informative website and just perused it again for said info after
seeing your reply to my query. Unfortunately, I saw nothing pertaining to
the situation at hand. Thanks so much for your time and effort as it is
truly appreciated.
