Hello Clemens,

I've had a 6772E for a number of years, and have been using it more
lately. Seems to be quite a good receiver.

Again from radiomuseum.org:

Commercial / military grade communications receiver covering 1000 -
30000 kHz, AM, USB/LSB, CW, FM;
standard IF bandwidths 0.3 / 1 / 3.2 / 8 / 16 kHz, BFO control with
separate LED readout, optional remote controllable with MA-6003 Remote unit.
Tempest qualified highly shielded variant of RA-6772, similar to RA-6778.

  Mine has the ISB option.

The major down side is that it forgets the frequency when you turn it
off. The only audio output on the rear panel is 600-ohm line-lever, but
the headphone jack will drive a lo-Z speaker reasonably well.

There's no LCD's and no microprocessor. The whole control circuit is
implemented in TTL logic. That's just fine by me, as I was able to work
out a simple mod to tune below 1 MHz. See:

Regards,
Al
