This is typical of radio-mart and there is all sorts of negative
information on other users
groups such as the Collins Reflector about him. He has a 100% record
of retaliation to
those that have justifiably given him negatives on EBAY. He knows
that there are those
who would rather walk away then take his retaliatory negative since
they usually have a small
number of feedbacks, so statistically they will really get hurt as
opposed to him, where
he has thousands.

He buys goods off of EBAY and then sells them and forgets to mention
what the seller to
him did initially in the listing, that it was either not working, not
working correctly or damaged.
When the buyer goes after him he tells them to file a claim with the
carrier claiming shipping
damage. Funny how key parts of the radio are missing in some cases.

He also works this scam the opposite way by telling the seller to him
that a item arrived damage.
He then tells them to file a claim on his behalf. Also as of late,
probably because UPS is on to
him, he asks the seller to give him a partial refund. He just tried
this approach on a Yeasu FT102
he bought which was double boxed in bubble pack. He tried that on
some expensive tubes and
the seller to him picked up on the picture he sent him of the
shattered tubes that they were not
the ones he sold him.

He purchased two Collins 30S-1s at Dayton and was advised they were
from New Orleans
and had been in about 8 inches of Katrina water for two weeks and
should be considered
contaminated, and therefore extreme caution should be exercised in
the handling of them,
the cleaning of them and of course the start up of them since the
power supply to include
the transformer and plate choke were submerged in water. When he put
them up on EBAY
he failed to mention any of the above, and thusly put the buyers at
risk and knowingly
misrepresented the items. He did say they were untested, but should
work which I would
doubt was the case.

His descriptions are very creative and intentionally misleading in
order to gain a profit. His
favorite one is purchased from an estate, one owner. In researching
his buy of the item
off of EBAY one finds a very different story.

When he resells an item it always is in better condition then when he
purchased it. His
new in box items usually are a few years old, out of warranty with
dated firmware.

I would suggest if you plan on selling a receiver or other equipment
on EBAY that you put
gottahaveit1995 on your blocked bidders list.

To sum it up "buyer beware" especially when dealing with Radio-Mart.
