I think this is what I emailed you last time.

I don't have a unit or manuals here at work, but here
goes.  If you are facing the front of the 3586c the
voltage reg board is on the right side either next to
the right side of the case or one board into the unit.
 It is a larger board that is not in a metal can like
the RX boards in the main section. When you pull the
board it will be VERY obvious that you found it.  Just
cut the battery off the board and if it leaked, wash
it with
soapy water and rinse well.  Blow off the water with
compressed air and then use a hair dryer.  Clean the
edge connector well and make sure corrosion has not
shorted paths on the board. (Both mine were shorted by
corrosion.)  Look at the edge connector on the
motherboard and make sure it is not full of crud.
